Lyrics & Type is a series of typographic projects inviting 15 of the worlds most hard working and creative designers, illustrators & typographers to interpret song lyrics by famous singers and/or songwriters into an individual graphic image.

Toko’s contribution is a graphic interpretation of the track ‘You are the worst thing in the world’ from the latest album ‘Immolate yourself’ of the music collective Telefon Tel Aviv.

‘I know that you’re the silence after the sound is gone away’ is a tribute to Charles Wesley Cooper from TelefonTel Aviv who past away last January just before the release of
the album.
